As we were going along I had my suspicions but didn’t actually think of what was revealed, I thought it was going to be something quite different!Īs we uncovered more about Chloe I did warm to her slightly more but I don’t think anyone can take the crown from Sam.
However, with the bombshell dropped at the end of book two it was quite clear that there was more to Chloe than first impressions and this book definitely uncovers some surprising events. Then in book two she seemed to be too preoccupied in her own life to even ask Samantha how she was… so much for best friend behaviour?! I mean she stole Samantha’s boyfriend and then kicks her out of the wedding to start with.
Now, spoiler if you haven’t read the previous two books, but she’s probably not anyone’s favourite. This book takes us back to Hedgehog Hollow with the lovely Samantha and a rapidly filling home, but the main storyline is focused on Chloe.
